Roles / Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and support network infrastructure, focusing on switching, wireless, and routing.
- Analyse and advise on ICT service capacity, including WAN bandwidth and network infrastructure.
- Monitor critical services and proactively troubleshoot issues.
- Support cybersecurity practices within the team.
- Contribute to ITIL processes, including Change, Incident, and Problem Management.
- Develop and refine standard processes, providing training and mentoring to peers.
- Offer advanced technical support, responding to emerging operational needs.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve faults and implement new technology.
- Stay current with the latest in networking technologies.
Skills Required
- Experience in a project delivery environment.
- Strong hands-on expertise with technologies such as:
- Juniper Security Appliances (SRX)
- Cisco Routing and Switching (NX-OS, IOS, IOS-XE)
- HPE/Aruba Switching and Wireless (e.g., ClearPass)
- Cisco ISE & Wireless
- F5 Local Traffic Manager & Application Security Manager
- HPE Intelligent Management Centre & Cisco Prime
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide technical support, reports, and operational guidance.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and quality standard
