The Opportunity
We're on the lookout for a commercially minded and hands-on Marketing Manager to lead the brand and category strategy for Oates across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this is a pivotal role that blends strategic planning with end-to-end execution across portfolio management, pricing, go-to-market strategy, and digital performance.
You’ll own the P&L for your category, lead a small team, and work cross-functionally to build compelling, insight-led strategies that put the consumer at the heart of every decision.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and manage the Oates brand/product portfolio, delivering profitable growth through smart commercialization, pricing, and innovation strategies.
- Lead consumer and shopper insight initiatives, using data to inform category and communication strategies.
- Partner with Sales to deliver high-impact go-to-market activations across trade, retail, and digital platforms.
- Develop and roll out media campaigns (both digital and traditional) aligned to brand goals, measuring ROI and effectiveness.
- Oversee the full digital customer journey across paid, owned, earned, and shared channels.
- Ideally degree qualified in Marketing or Business.
- Demonstrative experience in CPG/FMCG marketing roles.
- Proven P&L management, pricing strategy, and brand portfolio ownership.
- Strong digital acumen including SEO, media planning and customer journey management.
- Experience managing agencies and working cross-functionally.
- Collaborative mindset, commercial drive, and a passion for consumer-led thinking.
