About the role
Reporting to the CEO of ANZ, this is a standalone Marketing Manager position where you will develop and execute the marketing strategy for the remainder of 2024 and beyond. You will also lead the launch in Australia of an innovative new range of probiotics in 2025, in accordance with budget and timelines. Over time you will get the opportunity to hire a digital/brand manager and really shape how you market their brands and products across Australia and New Zealand.
The responsibilities
- Take real strategic ownership and manage end to end brand and product marketing activities across ATL, BTL, Digital and Social and all appropriate channels across both grocery and pharmacy as well as specialist healthcare professional channels
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders including NPD, supply chain, sales, global marketing, regulatory team, operations team, digital and analytics team as well as agency relationships
- Continuously assess and analyse campaign effectiveness, what is working and not working with a test and learn methodology
- Manage nominated communications and New Product Development (NPD) project launches
- Develop and execute marketing strategies including brand positioning, messaging, communication strategies, advertising, and other promotional initiatives for both medical and consumer markets
- Local Branding strategy in line with Global brand positioning and global tool kits: including creation and implementation of marketing materials
- Communication strategy, balancing scientific communication to healthcare professionals and brand building to consumers, including shopper marketing, eCommerce/ social media / digital marketing presence, congresses / conferences
What you need to be successful
- A pro-active, results-focused and positive attitude balancing a nurturing and collaborative approach to hitting key business and brand objectives
- A proven track record as either a highly successful Senior Brand Manager, Marketing Manager or Marketing lead with at least 5 years experience in the FMCG Consumer Healthcare and OTC space.
- Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven business acumen and a track record of delivering on commercial goals
- An adaptable and flexible nature and ability to influence key stakeholders to enjoy positive business outcomes
- You are a self-starter with very high personal drive and the ability to influence others with your ideas. If you truly believe in an idea – you make it happen!
- Willingness to roll up sleaves and deal with all levels of tasks while the organisation is growing
