An exciting role with an industry-leading Services organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. This Management Accountants' position will help provide accurate, timely and relevant reporting, analysis and insight to help to drive efficiency, productivity & improve financial outcomes for the business. Initially this will be a long-term contractual role, however there is the genuine opportunity for potential extension and / or permanency.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the Divisional Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management reports and forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis and deliver meaningful commentary to explain results.
- Produce Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports for designated sites.
- Provide hands-on support to the Finance team during the SAP system implementation. Additionally; assisting with system configuration reviews, UAT testing, and process mapping to ensure business needs are met.
- Conduct detailed analysis of financial and non-financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with the preparation of client costing; including gathering and interpreting relevant information in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, collaborating with business stakeholders and the Finance team.
- Ad-hoc projects as required & generalist finance support to the wider Finance team
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have extensive SAP system experience (SAP S4HANA is ideal!), a strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to your work and strong Microsoft Excel skills. Prior experience and skills with Power BI will also be considered highly advantageous.
