A prominent services provider in the Bass Coast region is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic professional to join their team as a 'Management Accountant'. This organisation has a rich history of delivering high-quality services across a range of specialties, including emergency, medical, surgical, and community care. The role will play a crucial part in supporting various operational and corporate departments to achieve their financial and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial analysis and reporting to align with business and financial management plans.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior management, cost center managers, and external stakeholders to provide financial advice, cost evaluations, and ensure sound financial governance.
  • Evaluate business cases, tenders, and funding proposals, and engage in negotiations to secure financial sustainability for the organization.
  • Work alongside internal teams to foster financial literacy and drive improvements in financial systems and processes.
Key Requirements:
    • Strong financial analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
    • Experience in financial management with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail.
    • Proven leadership ability to coach and guide team members and drive change.
    • Solid knowledge of business management, including financial reporting and tender evaluation.
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial software systems.
    • High-level communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Police Check and current Working with Children Check.
