Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role supports a major business unit within a large commercial, manufacturing organisation. Based in Brisbane's western suburbs, the position focuses on financial and management accounting, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration to optimise financial and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review month-end reports, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Deliver monthly P&L accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
- Manage budgeting & forecasting
- Create and present dashboard reports to stakeholders.
- Provide financial modelling, business cases, and ad hoc support to operational teams.
- Analyse budgets, costs, and stock management to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with operational managers to enhance business and operational processes.
- CA or CPA qualified with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI (or equivalent) skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Proactive, adaptable, and curious mindset.
