Role Overview:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role supports a major business unit within a large commercial, manufacturing organisation. Based 15 minutes west of Brisbane CBD the position focuses on financial and management accounting, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration to optimise financial and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review month-end reports, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Deliver monthly P&L accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
- Manage budgeting & forecasting
- Create and present dashboard reports to stakeholders.
- Provide financial modelling, business cases, and ad hoc support to operational teams.
- Analyse budgets, costs, and stock management to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with operational managers to enhance business and operational processes.
- CA or CPA qualified with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Proactive, adaptable, and curious mindset.
