This is opportunity is a 12-month parental leave cover, located in onsite at Leeton, New South Wales. Ideal for an experience HR Manager or HR Business Partner looking for a FIFO or DIDO role, this will be a very operationally hands on management position.
You will maintain alignment with the HR strategy, projects and goals, as well as providing generalist HR support across key HR functions including recruitment, administration, community engagement, performance management, employee counselling, creation and maintenance of HR records, HR reporting, succession planning, workforce planning auditing and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. This is a busy and complex environment in a global business and will be suited to someone wanting to advance their human resources career.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote & drive employee engagement and support the implementation of Group strategic HR initiatives;
- Provide HR advice, coaching and support to leaders and team members in a timely and professional member;
- Lead workplace investigations and performance management processes;
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements;
- Provide end-to-end recruitment support and coordinate recruitment campaigns as required;
- Ensure HR information systems, manual and electronic are created and maintained as the primary source of employee information;
- Identify and implement improvements and more efficient HR processes and other ways of working.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role such as HR Manager or HR Business Partner, agriculture or manufacturing experience will come highly regarded;
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations, or related business discipline;
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and an approachable and enthusiastic demeanour;
- Ability to interface with all levels of management, including operational and field staff when required;
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into tactical and operational plans that are fully implemented;
- Good judgement and problem-solving abilities and capability of understanding the impact of decision making on the business
