Our client is seeking an experienced Analyst to support Senior Executives and the broader Group in decision-making processes. This is a key influential role which will support across all aspects of their diverse investment portfolio including commercial property, accommodation and more.
About the Role:
Reporting directly into the CFO, the Group Financial Analyst will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Principals, and the broader finance team.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling
- Evaluate financial performance against benchmarks
- Prepare and distribute accurate reports, including Board reports
- Develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts with business units
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Assist in long-term financial planning
- Create dashboards and visualizations for financial insights
- Build and maintain financial models for decision-making
- Provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations on investment opportunities
- Assess financial impacts of various scenarios on the Group and funding sources
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; with an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) ideal
- Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Exposure to REIT, Property/Funds or Capital Transfer desirable
- Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders and deliverables
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and end-to-end ownership of responsibilities
