About the Opportunity:

Our client is seeking an experienced Analyst to support Senior Executives and the broader Group in decision-making processes. This is a key influential role which will support across all aspects of their diverse investment portfolio including commercial property, accommodation and more.

About the Role:

Reporting directly into the CFO, the Group Financial Analyst will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Principals, and the broader finance team.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling
  • Evaluate financial performance against benchmarks
Reporting and Forecasting:
  • Prepare and distribute accurate reports, including Board reports
  • Develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts with business units
  • Monitor budget vs. actual performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Assist in long-term financial planning
  • Create dashboards and visualizations for financial insights
Investment Analysis:
  • Build and maintain financial models for decision-making
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations on investment opportunities
  • Assess financial impacts of various scenarios on the Group and funding sources
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; with an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) ideal
  • Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Exposure to REIT, Property/Funds or Capital Transfer desirable
  • Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders and deliverables
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and end-to-end ownership of responsibilities
