An opportunity has become available for a Graduate Accountant to join a reputable and culture-focused organisation in a full-time position. This opportunity is located in Kangaroo Point and is close to public transport.
To be eligible for the role you must have completed or close to completing a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (or a related field). The undergraduate position is perfect for a student graduating their degree in 2024.
As a Graduate Accountant, you will have the opportunity to kickstart your accounting career, whilst working alongside experienced professionals. This role offers exposure to various aspects of accounting, including but not limited to financial reporting, auditing, and advisory services. You will have the chance to develop your skills, gain practical experience, and contribute to delivering high-quality services.
Duties – Key responsibilities
Reporting to the CFO, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable relating to the commercial property portfolio;
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements;
- Attending to month end reconciliations and reporting;
- Assist with outgoings management including annual budgeting and reconciliations;
- Ad hoc duties as required by the CFO.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
