About the Position
This is a newly created General Manager position and will report to the Group General Manager – Fencing Solutions. The GM will be pivotal in driving profitability and sustainable growth, overseeing all aspects of operations including safety, productivity, quality assurance, supply chain management, and projects; as well as holding full P&L responsibility for the business.

The company has a strong existing team and culture, so the GM will build from this foundation to facilitate further growth and the streamline and mature current systems and processes.

About the Person
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience as a General Manager or similar senior leader, ideally from aligned sectors such as civil construction, fencing construction, fabrication or heavy industry. They will have demonstrated experience in project delivery and safety management; complemented by commercial acumen and contemporary leadership skills to enhance profitability and productivity while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The GM will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring managers, ensuring the implementation of safety systems, and identifying business growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will foster a positive work environment characterised by trust, effective communication, and collaboration, all while ensuring the company meets its strategic and operational objectives.
