Role:
As the FP&A Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Finance. You will have 4 direct reports including two Analysts and two Accountants. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the organisation. You will collaborate closely with key cross-functional teams including Sales, Category, Marketing and Distribution to ensure effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.
You will also play a key role in providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership and functional teams, supporting critical business decisions.
Some responsibilities will include:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including variance analysis, KPIs, and financial performance metrics. Oversee the development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts in alignment with company objectives. - Commercial Support for Functional Teams:
Provide financial analysis and support to cross-functional teams, assisting with decision-making on key business initiatives such as revenue, margins, working capital, and investments. Develop business cases for capital expenditure, M&A, and strategic projects. - Governance & Process Improvement:
Ensure high standards of governance and data integrity in financial reporting. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure month-end and year-end processes are completed accurately and on time. Continuously seek process improvements and automation using financial reporting tools.
- A degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- CA/CPA qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar FP&A role, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Experience in managing budgets and forecasts, and providing business insights to senior leaders.
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools and business intelligence software (SAP, TM1, Power BI, BW, One Stream experience preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
