About the Role
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role is ideal for a commercially astute and analytically minded finance professional. You’ll take ownership of capital investment governance, support key investment committees, and play a critical role in annual budgeting and long-term planning processes across the group.
It’s a highly visible role, offering a rare blend of technical depth and strategic influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and refine the capital investment governance framework
- Act as secretary to the Investment Committees—driving quality, clarity, and follow-through
- Review and challenge business cases, investment models, and economic appraisals
- Manage a group-wide budget consolidation model and contribute to the annual and long-term planning cycle
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and operations to align planning and investment decisions
- Prepare presentations and documentation for leadership, shareholders, and the board
You’re commercially curious, detail-oriented, and a natural collaborator. You enjoy navigating both structured finance processes and broader strategic initiatives. You bring confidence in your communication, precision in your analysis, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Commerce or Economics (CA/CPA advantageous but not essential)
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling or exposure to BI tools
- Strong stakeholder presentation and engagement skills
- At least 2 years’ experience in a finance, analyst, project governance or investment-focused role
- Skilled at working with complex data sets and drawing out commercial insights
- Collaborative mindset with a high level of initiative
