The Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your duties will encompass a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Handling month-end tasks such as balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Managing fixed assets register full function
- Preparing and reviewing month-end processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Ensure financial transactions and records adhere to relevant accounting standards and are accurately reconciled with the general ledger, subledgers, and integrated systems.
- Oversee the monthly, half-year, and year-end financial close processes for the assigned entity
- Compile and prepare data for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and returns.
- Generate reports to meet local statutory compliance requirements
- Collaborate with finance teams to collect and organize necessary information for timely submissions
- SFMCG/Retail/Manufacturing or similar product-based industry experience will be highly regarded
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - ability to work independently and part of a team
- Ability to navigate through fast-paced, complex environment with a eye for process improvement
