The Responsibilities
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will take charge of (but not limited too):
- Lead the annual budgeting process, create/update BOMs and labor routes, and regularly update financial forecasts to reflect market trends
- Collaborate with teams such as procurement, operations, product development to provide financial insights for informed business decisions - business partnering component
- Support inventory management and oversee site inventory variances
- Develop and monitor key financial and operational KPIs, such as material variance, PPV, labour, and yield
- Build and maintain relationships with the Operations Team to ensure timely and actionable Factory performance reports.
- Undertake complex cost modelling to support equipment and site optimisation (plant of best fit) analysis
- Lead the calculation and analysis of cost-related benefits to support proposals for major capital expenditure projects
- Perform regular review of site P&Ls and Balance Sheets with regards to key items such as stocks, price movements, fixed assets transactions etc.
- FMCG/Manufacturing experience will be very highly regarded
- Ability to navigate through a large, complex manufacturing/site based role and business with industry specific knowledge like costing, BOM, routing, site controlling and etc.
