The Position
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to support the Commercial and Financial Manager in overseeing the finance and accounting functions. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, oversight of financial performance, and maintaining strong internal controls. This role requires a proactive approach to managing financial data, supporting acquisitions and integrations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly financial and management reports, including variance analysis, BAS/GST returns, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting.
- Provide financial support during acquisitions and ensure new assets are integrated into existing financial systems and processes.
- Maintain robust internal controls and assist in the development of financial review systems to withstand external audits.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring timely completion of tasks and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Commercial and Financial Manager to support the team's overall objectives.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for candidates with full CA or CPA membership. You should have proven experience in a similar role within a multinational organization or comparable industry, with experience using Great Plains and Prophix being highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess strong numeracy and financial management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Additionally, you should be resilient, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment, with excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and a collaborative mindset
