The Role
- Reporting to the GM of Finance
You will be responsible for providing timely and relevant financial analysis for key decision-making, including gross margin forecasting and variance analysis, product scenario modelling, and financial support to the commercial and supply chain divisions.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Sales and Operational Planning
- Collaborate with the Planning Manager as the Finance lead in the Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) process, providing financial input, analysis, and ‘what if’ scenarios for product mix and planning.
- Offer financial and commercial insights to support decision-making within the SOP process.
- Manage monthly Gross Margin Model finalization, ensuring accuracy of sales volume, pricing, freight rates, and COGS.
- Oversee commercial and supply chain inputs for the Annual Budget, including budget assumptions, GM model, and supply chain costing analysis at a profit segment level.
- Assist with monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and inventory reporting for the Finance Manager.
- Provide monthly reports and analysis for the Executive and Board, monitoring key performance indicators (KPI) like revenue and gross margin trends.
- Highlight performance trends and variances; perform Ad-Hoc reporting as needed for GM Commercial and GM Supply Chain.
