Reporting to the National Sales Manager (NSM), the Dealer Principal is a highly visible position, which is poised for the challenge of opening a new RV dealership in the Bundaberg area. You will build a successful team to deliver on sales and revenue targets.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires someone who can support both high-level complex Sales and servicing responsibilities as well as not being afraid to dive into the details on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities
- Help build the dealership from the ground up including and get it ready for the grand opening. This includes setup, prepare & furnishing of the Dealership.
- Develop a strong team culture that encourages success and minimises staff turnover.
- Create a collaboratively and customer centric environment managing all aspects of the dealership including finance & insurance options, parts & accessories, service department, new and used caravans.
- Identify opportunities for growth within the industry and community as well as maintain manufacturer relationships.
- Staff training and development including performance management reviews.
- Work closely with head office to develop plans for dealership specific events and promotions, including caravan and industry show events
- Collaborate with head office in relation to warranty, repairs, quality, sales, HR Support and implementation of computer software for dealer management and CRM.
- Ensure company values, policies and procedures are adhered to including workplace health & safety, sales processes and human resources.
- Proven background in sales, sales management and within a Recreational Vehicle dealership or similar industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills are essential as your role is to provide leadership, training, and direction to the team members under your guidance.
- Meticulously organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
