Our client is a leading food manufacturer based in Thomastown who supplies to some of Australia’s most loved brands. They are looking to expand their team and seeking a Customer Service Officer who will process sales orders, handle customer enquiries, and provide support to both internal and external stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to inquiries received by the Customer Service department.
- Efficiently and accurately process incoming sales orders into relevant systems.
- Plan and coordinate shipments and dispatch, including 3PL and freight requirements.
- Manage export orders, customs clearances, and associated documentation for international shipments.
- Monitor stock movements and address any queries related to stock movements and deliveries.
- Communicate and liase with internal stakeholders such as the sales team and category managers,
- Prior experience in a Customer Service and Dispatch role. Ideally within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
- Good understanding and experience in warehouse management and inbound/outbound freight movement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
