Reporting to the Financial Controller your role will be to provide key financial insights on product and labour costing as well as optimising operational performance. In addition, you will assist senior stakeholders and leadership with financial reports, decision making and providing strategies to ensure cost and performance efficiencies.

About the role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller your role will be to provide key financial insights on product and labour costing as well as optimising operational performance. In addition, you will assist senior stakeholders and leadership with financial reports, decision making and providing strategies to ensure cost and performance efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting and month end processing
- preparation of management reports
- Preparation of cost reports with variance analysis
- Analysis into supply chain processes
- Analysis of labour, productivity, customer trend, margins for monthly report
- Updating and maintaining manufacturing and import pricing
- Ensuring accurate BOMs and costing models
- Business partnering with department leads to obtain key financial insight and data
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting process
Skills and Experience:
- Ideally you are part or fully qualified CA/CPA with a background in Manufacturing, FMCG or similar industry.
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years cost accounting experience.
- You have strong business partnering skills and are an effective communicator who can influence, engage effectively and build relationships with a range of stakeholders including non-finance.
- ERP experience essential and BI tools highly regarded.
