Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in facilities maintenance, infrastructure project management, or contract management? We are seeking a Contract and Compliance Specialist to join a reputable government department.

About the Role
As a Contract and Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing agreements that directly impact 21 schools and their communities. You will monitor contract compliance, ensure performance obligations are met, and collaborate with private partners to maintain high standards of facility service and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and review compliance with contract terms and performance standards.
  • Utilize project management and asset management systems to track obligations, identify risks, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members to review processes and improve service delivery outcomes.
  • Inspect and assess school facilities, ensuring assets meet required standards.
  • Maintain databases and registers, ensuring up-to-date and accurate reporting.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including school principals and contractors, to ensure clear communication and effective partnership outcomes.
About You
You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving environment. You have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Background in facilities maintenance, infrastructure project management, or contract management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), and asset management systems.
  • Experience managing contracts or working with private companies, councils, or governments on facility maintenance projects.
  • A valid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Availability for full-time office-based work initially, with hybrid work options available after onboarding.
