A high growth, global Mining & Oil & Gas Services business are looking for a hands on Senior Accountant to join the team on a long term Fixed Term Contract of 9 months.. This is a broad and challenging role where you will be exposed to all aspects of the business, operating in a fast paced environment. You will have the opportunity to work across the business, partnering all function on commercial and financial support including – budgeting & forecasting processes, scenario analysis and modelling, as well as supporting the FC with the day to day financial accounting and reporting requirements.
Your Duties
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting
- Financial reporting
- Maintaining and improving Financial system processes.
- Drafting reforecasts and annual budgets.
- Developing internal controls, processes, and documents
- Contact with external consultants
- Compliance with local accounting standards
- Collaboration and Managing the Accounts Payable team to ensure correct invoice allocation and costings
- A range of commercial analysis and financial modelling
- Ad hoc reporting & analysis
- At least 5 years of experience in a commercial accounting role
- Strong communication skills, engaging with all parts of the business
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- CPA or CA Qualification is essential.
