Based in the South East, our client is a successful multinational manufacturing company who has experienced sustained growth in the local market. They have been in the market for over 100 years' and have established operations across the UK, US and Europe. 
  
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

• Overseeing the operation and management of Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. 
• Driving cross-department collaboration and business partnering to support strategic direction of the business, drive business decision making and enhance profit. 
• Provide financial analysis support for the Executive Finance Manager
• Drive continuous business improvements with focus on automation and efficiency. 
• Complete timely and accurate preparation of monthly management and financial statements and statistical reporting for local  Management and Corporate. 
• Review monthly departmental/regional results with senior stakeholders.
• Responsible for Statutory reporting, including annual Company tax returns, BAS, TAX, FBT, R&D, Payroll Tax, WorkCover, ABS. 
•  Manage the treasury functions of daily cash management, foreign exchange forecasting and hedging activities by monitoring exchange rate movements on a consistent basis.

To be successful in your application, you will be CA/CPA qualified with 5 years experience in a variety of accounting and financial positions encompassing Financial, Management and Cost accounting. You will have strong working knowledge of the Australian Income Tax Law and Corporations Law. Additionally, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success.
