About the role
Reporting to the CFO, this is a commercially focused Analyst/ Management Accounting position, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys partnering with operational teams. You’ll be a key driver in financial planning, cost analysis, and performance reporting, working closely with key stakeholders to optimise profitability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CFO and department leaders to provide meaningful commercial insights.
- Develop financial models and support budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
- Analyse production and warehouse data, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
- Perform detailed margin, pricing, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Oversee product costing and inventory valuation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and mentor two team members across accounts receivable and costing.
- Contribute to the month-end close process and internal/external financial reporting.
- Play an active role in developing business cases and scenario planning for new initiatives.
The successful candidate will have:
- 3+ years' experience in a management accounting or Analyst role, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG.
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, with CA/CPA status (or working towards).
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling capability.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to challenge and influence.
