Suncare Community Services Ltd (Suncare) provides high quality Community and Home-based services to individuals and carers focusing on Aged Care and Disability Support. About the Position
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the delivery of our services, and the financial and operational sustainability of Suncare. With the strategic direction of the Board, the CEO will provide advice to the Directors and exercise skilled leadership of the company’s workforce to ensure the achievement of Suncare’s vision, purpose, strategic roadmap and annual goals and objectives. Major deliverables of the CEO include leadership development, cultural growth, maximising innovation (e.g. technology solutions) and leading transformation initiatives in a period of significant sector reform.
Furthermore, the CEO will lead business expansion and improve financial performance by capitalising on market opportunities created by regulatory change (i.e. consumer choice and fee for service), set the standard for best practice clinical governance, and drive systems of prudent cost control, transparency, regulatory compliance and contemporary risk management practices.
About the Person
We are seeking a very experienced senior executive with a significant record and deep knowledge in the aged care and/or community care sectors including experience with relevant funding programs. In addition, you will possess an extensive operational understanding of the business drivers of similar, complex human services organisations and demonstratable achievements across customer satisfaction, clinical quality, compliance & risk, and technology solutions. As an accomplished values-based leader, you will be a role model who demonstrates the behaviours of empathy, inclusiveness, collaboration, entrepreneurialism, agility and utilise your commercial expertise to achieve community outcomes and financial sustainability targets.
