Working closely with all key stakeholders within the business, the incumbent will ensure superior management of the company’s customers, together with identifying new opportunities for the business, within the customer set. The incumbent will also work on new opportunities with new customers. The incumbent will ensure that new products are launched on-time and with the agreed margin.
The right candidate:
The right candidates will ideally have at least 1-2 years of proven experience within an FMCG Account Management/Sales environment. You will be highly organised by default, inquisitive and process minded. A passion for building strong relationships both internally and externally is also a must.
Role responsibilities:
- Working within the Business Development Team, the incumbent will develop the relationship with all key customers
- Provide customer feedback on the progress of new projects and new products
- Be the escalation point for customer order requests, when needed
- Manage the ongoing customer relationship
- Provide the customer with detailed costings and work on RFQ when provided
- Provide costings as part of any customer tenders
- Ongoing market research with regards to future product trends, locally and globally, with the aim of developing the customer product portfolio for continued growth
- Work closely with the R&D team, Project Management team and other teams internally to ensure that all customer requests are met at the highest level
