My client is seeking a professional and engaging Bookkeeper to provide varied support to a tight-knit team, working in the construction industry. This is a diverse role that will allow the successful candidate to work across a number of key business areas, and positively contribute to the success of the business. You must have excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work, with the attitude that no task is too big or too small.
Duties
Your responsibilities will include, the following:
- End-to-end Bookkeeping responsibilities which include Accounts Receivable, Payable, Reconciliations, Reporting and Payroll
- Managing all office-related requirements and projects
The ideal individual will have experience working in a similar role, as well as:
- Prior experience in a Bookkeeping and Administration role
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Great instincts with an acute sense of urgency and the ability to multitask
- Flexible and happy to adapt to changing situations with a positive ‘can-do attitude
- Great oral communication and interpersonal skills particularly telephone skills
- Highly proficient with written communication - particularly in e-mail correspondence
- Experience using Xero is highly advantageous however not essential
