About the role 
My client is seeking a professional and engaging Bookkeeper to provide varied support to a tight-knit team, working in the construction industry.  This is a diverse role that will allow the successful candidate to work across a number of key business areas, and positively contribute to the success of the business. You must have excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work, with the attitude that no task is too big or too small. 

Duties
Your responsibilities will include, the following:
  • End-to-end Bookkeeping responsibilities which include Accounts Receivable, Payable, Reconciliations, Reporting and Payroll
  • Managing all office-related requirements and projects
Skills / Experience
The ideal individual will have experience working in a similar role, as well as: 
  • Prior experience in a Bookkeeping and Administration role
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Great instincts with an acute sense of urgency and the ability to multitask
  • Flexible and happy to adapt to changing situations with a positive ‘can-do attitude
  • Great oral communication and interpersonal skills particularly telephone skills
  • Highly proficient with written communication - particularly in e-mail correspondence
  • Experience using Xero is highly advantageous however not essential
