Sharp & Carter has been engaged to source a high-calibre and technically strong Analyst for a leading manufacturing business. This position will start ASAP, initially on a temporary basis with potential to extend. Reporting directly to the National Manager, this role will require you to be a key member of the finance function whilst taking responsibility of the following tasks.

• Provide optimised quoting & costing support to sales
• Provide insights and analytical support to the business by gathering, reviewing and interpreting data
• Improve customer margin by identifying cost savings opportunities on new and existing materials
• Be the key contact in various project work that requires quoting, costing, onboarding of customer etc
• Provide key advisory service and commercial support to the State Sales, Estimation and Customer Service Team
• Contribute and participate in the tender process from initial quoting through to commercial analysis.
• Provides local & national commercial support including outperformance projects in sales and operations
• Provide key business advice to manufacturing & supply chain by providing accurate and timely analysis of financial and manufacturing results highlighting the links to physical drivers and emerging trends including options and recommendations for business improvement.

It is essential that the successful candidate is experienced in corrugated packaging estimation, in addition to knowledge of standard costing, sales analysis and financial management. You will have completed or be completing a CA or CPA qualification, and have 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
