The Organisation

The business are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join their dynamic and supportive finance team on a full-time permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working within a close knit team, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties;
- Manage the collection of outstanding invoices and follow up with clients on overdue payments.
- Process and allocate payments accurately within accounting systems.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and send customer statements and ensure accuracy in billing.
- Communicate professionally with customers to handle payment inquiries and negotiate payment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the finance team to review credit applications and assess credit limits.
- Ad hoc duties to assist the broader finance team.
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role, as well as the following attributes:
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
