Position Description
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join their collaborative team on a permanent basis, and cement strong relationships to facilitate future company growth and success.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will include but not be limited to:

• Coordinate and process end to end Accounts Receivable function
• Daily allocation and receipting of payments 
• Daily bank reconciliations 
• Manage billing and invoicing 
• Follow up on outstanding accounts 
• Manage overdue accounts and set up payment plans where necessary
• Debtor reporting on a weekly basis
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies / irregularities
• Handling telephone customer account queries
• Collaborating, fostering and building relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external)
• Completing relevant end of month processes
• Assist with streamlining and contribute to process improvement initiatives
• Ad hoc tasks as required to assist the finance team

Ideal Candidate:
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role, as well as the following attributes:

• Personable & empathetic nature with an excellent ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail with an ability to prioritise own work and resolve complex issues
• A positive up beat nature and excellent time management skills
