An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team on a full time permanent basis. About the Role:
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager and working collaboratively among a close knit team, the role will include but not be limited to:
  
  • Manage and maintain accounts receivable ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoicing and collections.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers via phone, email, and letters to facilitate timely payments.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve billing issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Process and allocate payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging debtors to management.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable function.
  • Provide support to the finance team as needed, including ad hoc tasks and projects.

You are adept at reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, and implementing solutions proactively.
