An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their team before the end of the year, on a full-time permanent basis.
Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, with a view of being a key contact for the Accounts Payable function, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties;
- Processing supplier invoices following the companies approval processes
- Ensuring timely payments are made of supplier invoices via weekly and monthly payment runs
- Handling accounts payable queries in a timely and professional manner
- Setting up new suppliers
- Completing statement reconciliations
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Ad hoc duties to assist the broader finance team
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, as well as the following attributes:
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
- Commence as soon as possible
- Office located close to home in Melbourne's Western suburb of Laverton North with onsite parking
- Work from home one day per week after onboarding / training
- Attractive salary ($85,000 - $95,000 package dependent on experience)
