An open opportunity for a skilled and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join a growing team in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, with the potential for WFH once training is complete. The role requires the successful candidate to utilise prior Accounts Payable experience from various organisations to jump into a assisting in a new environment, ensuring timely payment of invoices for the business by forming strong working relationships and having a system savvy mindset.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Processing vendor invoices
- Ensuring transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised Accounts Payable ledger
- Reconciliation of supplier payments and inter-company accounts
- Assisting with month end closing
- Other general finance administration duties
- Impeccable customer service and phone manner
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
- An ability to work collaboratively with others
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Must be highly organized, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Relevant solar industry experience preferred but not essential
- Previous MS Dynamics experience will be highly regarded
- Intermediate level excel and word skills
