Our client is a market leading FMCG business who are seeking an accounts officer to join their friendly and supportive team.
This role is ideal for someone early into their accounting career and wanting to join a supportive company that is big on internal promotions and development.
The Responsibilities:
Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
- Data entry processing of high-volume invoices, ensuring correctly matched to purchase orders
- Processing of employee and company credit card expenses
- Accurate payment of invoices, ensuring complete documentation and timely upload into to online banking facility
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts with statements and follow up of outstanding items
- Assist with upload of daily direct debit and customer refund files in online banking
- Filing of invoices and statements
- Ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Manager
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Intermediate excel skills
- Be a team player.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
