About the Company 

Our client is a market leading Australian company who specialise in a customer centric approach and boast a reputable brand. Due to growth, they are seeking a motivated Accounts Officer to join their team immediately on a temporary basis with the view to go permanent. This role is based in Melbourne's city fringe, with 1 day from home on offer after training. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join a welcoming and fast-paced environment. 


The Role

Working as part of a vibrant and dynamic finance function, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables 
• Vendor payment runs 
• Ensure that payment runs are approved in bank by approvers.
• High volume reconciliation of accounts 
• Assisting Finance Manager to compile all data to satisfy audit requests
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Support the broader finance team
• Other ad hoc duties as required

The Ideal Candidate

Our client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:

• A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
• 2 years+ experience in a similar Accounts role would be highly desirable
• Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
