About the Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working collaboratively among a close knit team, the role will include but not be limited to:
  
  • Manage and oversee the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers for timely payments.
  • Reconcile ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Prepare and distribute statements to customers.
  • Maintain relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payment and resolve queries.
  • Verify invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Prepare and perform weekly payment runs while adhering to payment terms.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Support the Finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders as necessary.
  
  
About You:
To be considered as a successful applicant for this business, you will bring a strong grasp of accounting principles and proven expertise in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. You excel in managing financial transactions with precision, leveraging your proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. With excellent communication skills, you collaborate effectively across teams, contributing to the organization's financial health and operational success. The ideal individual will have a reliable and positive attitude, a willingness to provide support in a team environment, and have a keen eye for detail. You will have strong time management skills and prior experience in a busy finance environment.
