The Role & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working among a supportive close knit team environment, the role will predominantly encompass Accounts Payable duties as well as some Accounts Receivable duties. Your days will vary and entail:
- High volume invoice processing on a daily basis
- Completing weekly and ad hoc payment runs
- Handling queries from both suppliers and customers
- Daily reconciliations
- Allocating and receipting payments
- Following up overdue / outstanding accounts
- Relevant reporting duties
- Providing support to the finance team where required
Candidate Profile
Will have proven experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, as well as the following attributes:
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task and juggle varying responsibilities
- A passion for accounts and keen desire to complete all tasks to a high standard
- Positive and bubbly personality
- Strong communication skills, from both a written and verbal perspective
- Prior experience in the construction industry is highly regarded
