The Position As a key member of the finance team, you will report directly to the Finance Manager. Your primary role will involve overseeing technical accounting matters, with a particular emphasis on corporate and management reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and ensuring compliance standards are met. Key Responsibilities Provide expert commercial advice and support to the Head of Finance and Finance Manager Develop and review business cases, supporting the approval process, and assisting with delivery post-approval. Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations. Complete all other statutory reporting as required. Manage internal controls and ensure business compliance. Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accounting position, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Bachelor of Commerce or similar degree. CPA/CA qualification. Previous experience with large ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP) desirable. Knowledge of relevant Australian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards. Strong process design, development, and implementation skills. Demonstrated business and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
