About the role: Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for process improvement and systems integration? Our client, a leading organisation within property and construction are seeking a Finance Process & Systems Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for first mover to gain commercial experience with a highly recognisable ASX Listed company. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and enhance existing finance processes, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness. Review financial system entries and processes to ensure data integrity, compliance, and alignment with internal policies and reporting standards. Support the design, implementation, and optimisation of finance systems and processes, ensuring seamless integration and ongoing user support. Develop user-friendly training materials, deliver training sessions, and manage communications to support successful system rollouts. Work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party providers to address financial and operational matters and ensure alignment on key transformation goals. Conduct detailed analysis of financial and operational data to identify risks and areas for improvement, implementing effective controls where needed. Reconcile financial records related to logistics and inventory, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems. Contribute to project-based finance activities, including reporting, budgeting, and cost control. Ensure finance infrastructure supports the delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful reporting across the business. Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate progress, and ensure cross-functional alignment. Requirements: 3+ years’ experience in audit or financial accounting Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience in managing varied stakeholder relationships Experience in preparing monthly financial results Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively with finance, operations, and logistics teams. Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
