This business is one of the leading companies in the retail industry. Due to continued business growth, this company is seeking a dynamic and motivated Payroll Officer to join their team in a contract role with view to permanent.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Coordinating fortnightly payroll for a large payroll within a team based environment
- Processing of new starter and leaver paperwork
- Responding to payroll queries
- Payroll salary increases and assisting with end of month and end of year activities
- Administrative duties: filling, set up new employee folder, hand out starter pack, collect police check and reimburse police check expense
- Previous experience in payroll using PayGlobal
- High level of attention to detail
- Effective time management & organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
- Flexible working arrangements | 2 days office / 3 from home
