About the role: 
An exciting immediate start opportunity within a IT Consulting company currently exists in order to fill a key role in the Finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Systems Accountant role will involve supporting in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications. 

The Responsibilities:
Reporting directly into an Executive Manager. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Support in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications (D365, Kantata, Anaplan).Collaborating with customers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure the successful deployment and utilisation of these applications, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
  • The Senior Systems Accountant serves as a subject matter expert on the software applications they support, offering guidance and training to end-users to maximise application functionality and optimise their workflow.
  • Lead development and administration of accounting systems.
  • Provide support and training for financial system users during changes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve finance-related system issues.
  • Train and support finance team members, ensuring access for non-finance users.
  • Analyse processes for improvement, implementing plans and establishing best practices.
  • Assist in month-end processes, build reports in D365, and support audits
The Candidate 
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA/CA/CIMA or similarly qualified or working towards
  • Several years experience in accounting or finance, with a strong systems track record (Implementations or Systems Accounting) with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP. 
  • Experience in inventory management is required and will be highly advantageous to your success
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
