The Role
Reporting directly into the Deputy Director of Payroll, your duties will include the following:
- Lead the development and management of the payroll compliance and governance
- Maintain integrity of payroll data and conduct robust audit processes
- Interpret complex awards and enterprise agreement provisions
- Oversee Single Touch Payroll (STP) validation and back‑pay calculations
- Guide, support, and foster development of a staff member
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar senior payroll position that includes the following:
- Extensive end-to-end payroll and compliance experience
- Ideally exposure to healthcare or a similar industry
- Prior experience in interpreting EBAs and awards
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
