An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join a large, mission-driven organisation that delivers services across healthcare, aged care, mental health, early parenting and community programs. This is a key role within the Employee Relations team with a strong emphasis on supporting complex case management, industrial relations, and enterprise bargaining processes.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Group Manager, Employee Relations, this position will provide expert advice and support across a diverse portfolio. You will play a critical role in managing complex employment matters, leading IR/ER projects, and engaging with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely advice on a broad range of employee and industrial relations matters, including complex case management.
- Support enterprise bargaining processes, including negotiations, analysis, and implementation.
- Interpret and advise on enterprise agreements, awards and employment legislation.
- Lead investigations and provide practical, risk-based advice on performance, conduct and ill/injured employee matters.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including union representatives and regulatory bodies.
- Support change management processes and operational reviews.
- Develop and deliver ER/IR training to managers and HR business partners.
- Contribute to policy review and continuous improvement of ER/IR frameworks.
- Proven experience in employment relations, industrial relations or employment law, ideally in a complex multi-site organisation.
- Admitted to practice in an Australian jurisdiction (ideally 7+ PQE).
- Deep knowledge of the Australian industrial relations system, public sector and private sector frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise bargaining and union engagement.
- Sound understanding of relevant legislation including the Fair Work Act.
- Ability to lead investigations and manage disputes with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear, practical advice.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- High levels of personal integrity, professionalism, and alignment with organisational values.
