Great opportunity for an IT Support Officer, with experience in L1/L2 support in a Microsoft environment, to join our client on-site in Richmond.

- 3 month daily rate contract
- Opportunity to extend
- 5 days per week on-site 

About the Role
To provide additional capacity to the IT Business Support team as there has been a very significant increase in demand for their day to day support services and an increase in and fast-tracked requirement for key projects deliverables that allow continued function of the services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide 1st level technical support including identification, diagnosis and resolution for end user-related equipment and systems in a Windows and Office 365 environment.
  2. Maintain loan logs of IT assets.
  3. Log all incidents and service requests in a timely manner within our ticketing system.
  4. Ensure that customers (both internal and external) receive advice that achieves the best possible business process improvement outcomes.
  5. Ensure ITIL processes are adhered to for end to end ticket management.
  6. Undertake routine hardware, software and network maintenance in line with established procedures.
  7. Log and follow up on all systems errors as required.
  8. Support end user device rollout and refresh programs under direction of the Team Lead, IT Business Support and Senior IT Business Support officers.
  9. Proactively and reactively ensure user equipment is operating effectively.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  1. 2+ years of experience in an IT support environment, assisting a large volume of users.
  2. A recognised tertiary qualification in computer science or a related field.
  3. Desktop/Server related Microsoft MCP or MCSA certification is highly
    advantageous.
  4. Exposure to various Windows operating systems including Windows.
  5. Previous experience administering Active Directory / Office 365 including creating user accounts and security groups (Level 1 & 2).
  6. Previous experience dealing with procurement processes, including PO
    creation and invoicing.
  7. Knowledge of Active Directory, user creation, resets, membership updates.
  8. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suites 2013/2016/365.
  9. Troubleshooting ability of hardware and software issues across a variety of platforms and services, including iOS, Desktop PC's, MS teams and Printers. 
  10. Strong written and verbal communications.
  11. Ability to work autonomously and in a team through collaboration and rapport gained with various user groups.
