Our client is a leading organisation specialising in high-quality food products and food services. With a global presence spanning six international offices, they have experienced a sustained period of growth throughout the last 5 years. Headquartered in Melbourne, they are seeking a technically strong Treasury Accountant to join their team. 
  
Reporting to the CFO, your main responsibilities will include but no be limited to: 

• Complete multi-currency and multi-entity cashflow management and reporting across all entities – Daily, monthly and rolling. 
• Foreign Currency payments and use of forward FX contracts. 
• Update Cashflow and perform bank/balance sheet reconciliations, with intercompany transfers. 
• Banking and credit card management. 
• Process Pricing claims. 
• Complete Payroll ~30 employees. 
• Plan, coordinate and execute payments from all areas of the business - general suppliers communication and remittance. 
• Preparation of Sales & Margin reports. 
• Complete Profit and Loss statement with basic accruals for International freight, Prepayments and Inventory movement/reconciliation. 
• Supplier liaising and resolving supplier and customers queries as required. 

To be successful in your application, you will be degree qualified with 3+ years Treasury/ Accounts Officer experience. You will have sound working knowledge of Excel, and ideally Xero. You will have strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct variances.
