The Role
As Financial Controller (2IC to CFO), you will play an integral part in shaping the strategic direction and performance of the organisation whilst building and leading an end to end finance function. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join a dynamic Australian owned Manufacturing company.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, annual financial statements and budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Oversee the preparation of regulatory reporting, including compliance with ASX Listing Rules, Corporations Act and ATO requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and tax authorities.
  • Lead the finance team in day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Manage the company's cash flow, treasury, and foreign exchange risk.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and provide insights to senior management.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
The Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • CA/CPA qualified.
  • Extensive experience as a hands-on CFO / FC / Head of Finance in a small to medium sized businesses (preferably ASX listed). 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in leading teams, driving change and process improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and communicate key business insights.
