The Opportunity We are searching for a visionary General Manager, SEAP to lead the aftermarket business across 11 dynamic markets – spanning North East Asia, South East Asia, and Australia/New Zealand. This pivotal role will see you driving strategy, growth, and operational excellence, building high-performing teams, and unlocking new opportunities across diverse and rapidly evolving markets. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a 3–5 year regional strategy aligned with broader APAC and global goals. P&L Ownership: Take full accountability for regional P&L, budgeting, and forecasting. Drive revenue and margin growth while ensuring cost efficiency. Market Expansion: Lead market-entry strategies in emerging economies (including Vietnam, Philippines, and New Zealand) and identify new business opportunities across the region. Team Development: Build, mentor, and retain a multicultural leadership team. Champion cross-functional collaboration and foster a high-performance culture. Stakeholder Engagement: Strengthen relationships with governments, distributors, and key clients. Work closely with global and regional teams to align priorities. Innovation & Digital Transformation: Drive digital initiatives (e-commerce, CRM, analytics) and promote sustainable practices in line with ESG goals. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to local regulations and global compliance standards. Proactively manage risks in a complex, fast-changing environment. About You 15+ years’ senior leadership experience, including 5+ years managing multi-country P&Ls in the SEAP region. Deep business acumen and a proven track record of driving growth in the automotive aftermarket. Demonstrated ability to deliver results in multicultural, matrixed environments. Degree qualified (business/marketing preferred); MBA highly regarded. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation, customer engagement, and issue resolution skills. Exceptional communicator and relationship builder, fluent in English (local language skills highly regarded).
